Get to know Victory House Hotel

Originally erected in 1898 following the design of Walter Emden, the Hôtel de l’Europe became an animated and popular West End dining spot featuring a Parisian décor brasserie in close proximity to area theatres.

Cinemas such as the iconic Leicester Square Odeon are still just a few steps away from the hotel, offering guests a privileged position for viewing the ceremonial ballet of celebrities arriving at premieres and other cinema events occurring weekly on the square.

On each floor, silent films are projected around the lift, and black and white portraits of 20th century cinema icons gracefully adorn the walls. Except for the ground floor, which has been refashioned several times, Emden's original front remains substantially unaltered today at Victory House Hotel.
